today's the day we're leaving London. Feeling quite sad, because London is so great, so interesting, so big, so busy, you're both wanting to stay forever & also wanting to escape the wild busy-ness. Last breakfast in our hotel, right before leaving the hotel, by taxi (so much more practical with lots of bags to carry), to Waterloo Station, where we're taking a train to Southampton, where we're renting a car.
And, there, we're doing good, and managing to reach our hotel in Salisbury, the Grasmere House Hotel. (photo below is the back of the hotel)after spending most of the day in transportations (taxi, train, taxi, car), we're leaving the hotel by foot to go to the center of this beautiful beautiful town.just in time for tea time (well, minus the tea, plus the coffee) in the Cathedral tea room ... first time the boys are trying scones & cream ... and they're simply loving it !! (no big surprise !)again the stained glass is mesmerizing me ...and before going back to the hotel, the boys play & run around the cathedral, while hubby's reading the newspaper, and while I'm embroiderying a bit (yes yes)
back to present ....
I have listed two new items to the shop today : a neutral colors Moleskine pocket notebook, and a Rosa Canina pincushion.ok, off I go. Hope your new week is starting on a great note ! take care & have fun !
