YOGHURT + APPLE CAKE
NOTE : you will use the yoghurt pot as measure*
ingredients :
1 yoghurt
1 pot* and a half sugar
3 pots* flour
1/2 pot* oil (sunflower for instance)
2 medium or 3 small eggs
20 g vanilla sugar
10 g baking powder
2 apples
Preheat the oven at 200°C.
In a big bowl, empty your yoghurt pot.
Clean it right away to have it as measure for the other ingredients.
Add 1 pot & a half sugar & the eggs & mix in thoroughly.
Add flour one pot at a time, mix in thoroughly, and add the baking powder.
Add the vanilla sugar & oil, mix in thoroughly.
Peel your apples & cut them into 1 cm cubes.
Add them in the bowl & mix in thoroughly.
Butter a round tin (28cm or something)
Pour your mixture in it.
Bake in the oven for 30mn at 200°C.
Have a look at it at the end just to check. (you never know !)
We like to sprinkle a bit of sugar right before eating.
It adds a bit of crunchy. But it's strictly personal !!
* by "a yoghurt pot", I mean the plastic or glass container the yoghurt comes in. In France, they usually weigh 100 or 125 grams.

I finished the 2nd of the 4 mini felt pics I'm custom making. It looks a lot like the one I had made last summer, but the lady requested a similar one, so I had to make it look alike.

Just baked my usual prune + oatflakes muffins, and we'll have these for the next days' breakfasts. We baked & cooked a lot thes past two weeks, and everything was great & yummy. I probably should write down the list of what we wanted to do & did cook/bake, at least for the record. Of course, this didn't do good on our waistline ... ahem. LOL Well, better go now, it's 05.30pm but it feels like 09pm, I'll turn the heat on in the bathroom soon. We kept two big leaves of cabbages the other day for the boys to use them as boats in their bath. (they usually don't take bath, but showers, so that's a treat) Take good care everyone ! xoxo hugs
PS : what do you think of the new look here ? A bit in my "Less is More" mood, I suppose, and in wintery hues as well. I've decided to show a bit bigger photos too, and I think it looks better this way.
Hi Sonia!! That looks great!!! Is a pot equal to a cup in US measurements? US has weird measurements I know. :P
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!! ((BIG HUGS))!!!
Coucou Sonia :-) Yum, as per usual... One of these days I am definitely going to HAVE to try your receipes, it always looks SO yummie! And yes, the past week and a half has been hard on our L, but she has only asked for it a few times... and NOT.ONCE. during the past two days... I think we are getting there :-) Oooo I love the lavendar felt mini, it is adorable! Especially that cute little bee :-) The new look is great too, very bright and clean, like an early spring (yes, I am SO ready for the light to return... sigh)
