decision made

thank you everyone for expressing your point of view & your own experience with that sort of problem. I have made up my mind & have decided to pay for my blog. It's part of my life, I don't buy any luxury item, I save money on other things, but for my own peace of mind, I am fully ready to pay for my little piece of self expression. Until now, I had not given this a real thought, but now I'm ready for it. I have switched to Typepad, and will be working on the new blog these days. Hopefully it won't take forever. I will do my best & will investigate if I can actually import this blog on Blogger, over there, so that nothing would be lost. This may take me longer, but you never know.

I suppose things will change on this blog, as a matter of fact. If I manage to move all my blog posts over there, I will maybe close it, or simply delete all content & will leave the redirection URL. I must investigate if I can use an automatic redirection HTML script here, that would be handy.

a couple of years ago, I was kind of scared by change (in itself). But not anymore. If change is for something better, whatever it costs (literally or not), I'm ready to do it.
