coloring winter days

on wednesday I thought it was a good idea to have the boys have a little creative session. They don't have any art at school (a biiiiig shame, according to me) and I must say that I haven't been compensating this lack enough. They had a little paint session, and even most of the paints were getting dry & tired. But we did it anyway, and the day after (yesterday), I went to buy them new supplies. Nothing beats new art supplies for boosting your creativity, right ?

new craft supplies for the boys

U went back to school yesterday but P was still home today. He'll go back on Monday. In the meantime, tonight we should have been to the school bingo, but we are so not going there. As I'm typing, hubby's gone to the doctor (for himself, obviously) so we'll skip that. I have decided to make a little bingo evening at home instead. Thank goodness I had saved vintage bingo cards from my grandparents', but I had to make up the little loots & all the rest of the game. (which were missing with the cards)

I think they were quite photogenic :)

speaking of photogenic, and as I've been much in charge of the walks to schools recently, I thought I'd share pics of our building's (old) door. It has a beautiful ironwork, and an even lovelier antique glass. It's too easier to overlook and not enjoy every detail, so here they are for you, since you don't live with me LOL

we won't be going anywhere this weekend, the boys will need this time to finish recovering (P still coughs a lot), and hubby too, as he'll be away most of next week. It's supposed to rain anyway, so really, I will not mind, a, single, second. :) Me, homebody ????!?? (no way !!)

have a great weekend everyone
