playing catch up

sorry I didn't blog yesterday about our activities, it's that time of the year & I've decided that no extra pressure is needed. So yesterday's we did catch up with Friday's activity (the felt garland) and we also made Saturday's activity (for which dad was in charge, hey) : making cylinder seals with self hardening linen fiber clay.

they were dry this afternoon & they used them on another natural clay.

today's been a real cozy rainy (almost) winter day. It's been pouring since yesterday evening. Non stop. Very rainy Sundays are meant for drinking lattes, right ?

we made today's activity : making paper snowflakes. Easy one, once again. (please don't blame me LOL)

the last photo was taken in the boys' bedroom. It's been so dark today.

I also kept on sorting papers & more papers & I've been throwing tons. (feeling so good about it) I will NOT be blogging the next three days because ... we're going on a trip, that we've kept secret for the boys until yesterday . We're going to a magical kingdom, if you see what I mean ... ;-) We'll be back on Wednesday evening, but I'll blog again on Thursday only. I hope you'll have three wonderful days while I'm away. Enjoy the holidays season, my friends.

  1. just having a little catch up Sonia, I would LOVE your choccy nut thingies, they looks gorgeous.

ooh, I think I can guess where you are off to! How fabulous! I bet it's really magical at this time of year.

Love your snowflakes on the window. We are drenched in snow again. We've had a good dollop, but it's not too bad in my part of the world, but some people are totally snowed in.
Once you are safely back home, I'll send it your way :o)

    have a fun time!
