this morning, hubby left for two days in the capital, and a couple of hours later, my parents visited (mom's staying a couple of days) and brought me branches of holly. I love holly !! It's so red & green, & so cheerful !these tiny red balls make me happy ! (as you can see & most probably already know, I love red !)
today's activity was felting balls, given that I had never ever tried, this was a first both for my boys, for myself & my mom too ! Man, it's not as easy as it looks !!!very humble result, right ? yes, we love them !
THANK YOU very much about your positive feedback on yesterday's post. If you haven't read it, please do so, it's quite important.

ReplyDeletewill you adopt me for next advent?
fantastic! What will you use them for?
ReplyDeleteI love holly too. We have a fabulous holly bush in the front garden, but I won't have it in the house while Humbug is still small. I'd worry about berries in the mouth! But I do think it looks gorgeous.
Glad you have your mum there with you :o) xxx
I think they look pretty darn good, actually. And oh my, the holly is beautiful. Enjoy your visit with your mom. xo
ReplyDeleteYay for wet felting! I think they turned out beautifully. Love the deep color of the roving!
