which is today of course ...
can you imagine that today starts the last week of 2010 ? seriously ?! where did that past year go ?!
yesterday was low key, except that I tried (and managed) to catch up with laundry, and get the house almost clean & tidy. (this, my friends, never lasts long, anyway ... and I suppose it is the same for you)
yesterday we went for a walk in town, stopping by hubby's work. The weather was clear, sunny, but cold & windy.I've cracked some homegrown & handpicked (by my parents) walnuts, enough to fill a medium glass jar.time to go back to a healthier food. Even though they're calorific, nuts of all kinds are very good for your health. Your skin, your hair, your nails, your eyes, your brain, your heart will thank you.
have a glorious last week of 2010. Thank you so very much for stopping by today, and always.

ReplyDeletescrummy, I love walnuts. Yes, you are absolutely right, nuts are good for you. I saw a lovely recipe by Nigel Slater recenly, large mushrooms covered with stilton cheese and walnuts. One for me to try for sure.
