I will not be home most of the week for two reasons :
1) tomorrow is my mother in law's 70th birthday so we're going there tomorrow morning until Wednesday evening
2) we shall go to Paris from Thursday afternoon to Sunday evening
I say shall because there are major strikes in the civil service here in France, and OF COURSE, planned for Thursday. (I must add that we planned our trip three months ago) I don't know exactly how things are going to occur on Thursday (hubby working in the morning) so well, it's currently providing me more stressful vibes rather than relaxed ones :(
so ... I won't be around much at all, but but but ... I've had a handful of photos uploaded (and will upload some more soon) on Flickr, so I'm very sorry for the ones of you who follow me on Flickr too, but I'm going to plan auto-posting blog posts which will use the photos from Flickr. (hence the reruns title)
today I will use photos I uploaded this past weekend on Flickr, and which are about the sea stones I collected/gathered the previous weekend. I've placed them on my windowsill, poured water and took a first photo. Took more photos, individually on many stones. Let them dry & took one last photo. Here we go.I love how they are all so different from each others, and how some really make me think of something precise, like the first one which makes me think of the skin of a whale (or dolphin), or the black & orangey-yellow one which makes me think of an Ancient Greek pottery.
during this past weekend, I spent a good portion of my crafty time crafting for my mother-in-law's gifts (a country style wall hanging, slightly quilted ... a matching cosy for a repurposed Golden Syrup empty can -turning it into a pencil pot-) I also went shopping for a Lagostina pan that she was coveting (but couldn't afford), and finally I "designed" custom shopping lists, that I printed on recycled paper, cut & tied with a just as much country style yellow gingham ribbon :I hope she will love it all ! :D
now will you all take care. I have access to the internet at my inlaws', but not to my emails. If you REALLY need to contact me today or tomorrow, simply send me an Etsy convo.
