first of all, I want to thank you all for your supportive words concerning my previous post. We, women, most of the time overcommitt, or are too exigeant with outselves. It's very hard to say no, may it be to our child(ren), to our family, ro our friend or to anyone who is asking us for something. But as you have already noticed with children, saying no brings more benefits and does more good than you can think.
after making the cushions covers you could see yesterday in my post, I had a little pile of remnants. What I cut around the cover before turning it inside out. Before throwing it, I gave it a second look, and then, a second thought. I started playing with the bits, & found myself weaving with them.I will do something with it, that's for sure. It's still pinned on my ironing board (a good excuse for not ironing, right ?) but I'll soon sew it.
hubby & I have been dyeing again. I must take photos today, but until then, I will show you the way to the blog post I posted today at the dyeing blog, about our hot dyeing with Xanthium strumarium.this plants grows on ... wastelands. But, no waste for us. The fruits (that we used for dyeing) were known for dyeing hair yellow. No wonder why it dyed yellow on fibers !
have a good day, don't waste a second of it ! :)

Isn't weaving fun? Your little creating is interesting and it will be interesting what it turns into (what you turn it into). :-)
