first of all, I want to express a heartfelt thank you for those who purchased my first zine yesterday, it made me so very happy to know you found interest in it. As I'm typing, there are still 15 of them available.
yesterday kind of started the bell of the start of what I'd call the busy autumn. I know it's not autumn yet, more particularly here (as it's still very warm), but the boys went back to school, hubby went back to work, and everyone is busier than in summer. Even the back-to-school germs have made their apparition. (said she with a runny nose & an itchy throat) Hubby will be busier from now on, and it usually works by wave. OK, so now starts the wave.
after yesterday's busy-ness around the zine (because hey it takes time to do it all !), as the evening sun hit the kitchen, it pushed me to grab the camera & to focus the details I was seeing. This is what I saw.next time you feel your mind or your heart is all over the place, take a deep breath, grab your camera, set the macro setting, and wander in your home/appartment, looking for the smallest details. Don't try to reflect too much, and shoot what you think you would have never thought of shooting. I'm pretty sure you'll discover new things, or at least, it will comfort you, and will re-focus you.

The photos are so nice.I like the rust and calmness in them :)
ReplyDeletewhat lovely advice. Pausing is always good, but with a camera sounds even better. Hope you are enjoying your day today and that you don't have much more of a cold. x
ReplyDeleteExcellent idea - to find calm in the storm of craziness. I haven't done that is sooooo long. Will do it today for sure.
