lattara

we went yesterday morning to a place we should have visited earlier, because it's not that far from here, and it's really beautiful. It's in a little town called Lattes, and this is a gallo-roman archeological site (and museum) I'll let you admire the glass works & the ceramics. They were all to die for. I could have stayed forever behing the blue glass vases ...

the boys had a one hour long "excavations" workshop/activity (without us ... that's when we visited the museum pea-ce-fu-lly (repeat after me) They had a ball, and so did we :) All in all, a very interesting morning !

you can visit their website here. There's even a game to play on the website.

I'll show & talk about what we did yesterday afternoon, tomorrow :) Have a lovely week ahead, and thanks for stopping by !

  4. Lovely collection :) I wish such pretty civilizations were in Poland, near where I live. Unfortunately not many people lived here long ago, and much of this was destroyed through the history. Thanks for sharing :)
