craving autumn

the weather is still so very summery over here, and I must admitt that I'm kind of craving a good cloudy, rainy, cozy day ... It rains so hardly in the summer here ... So I made a little mosaic with inspirational photos from friends & Flickr contacts. I'll come back to it everytime I'll crave autumn, and it will ease my impatience ...

thank you so much, talented ladies, for your beautiful photos, and for making me crave autumn !

  1. Very pretty finds. I've taken loads of season changing pictures the last few days, having trouble holding on to my summer ;) Maybe I'll get a chance to post them soon. I like the look of that scarf, I want to try and make a few this year.

  2. I just love the dance of the seasons on blogs. It seems like just yesterday when we had autumn and you spring.. and here it is our spring showing signs of arrival and you looking forward to autumn. I hope you enjoy your winter as much as I have enjoyed ours. I can't believe it is almost over.
    i love your pics ..

  3. how I understand your craving my friend! It's a shame you aren't on your holiday here still, as you would absolutely love the weather.

I made a real effort to enjoy summer this year (not easy for me!), but I am pleased that things are changing quickly here now. Much as I try to find things to like about summer - and do, there are things I enjoy - I am so much happier with a brisk, fresh air, and rain on the windowpane.

sending it all your way, look out for it soon! xxxxx

  4. I too am craving autumn. I've booked the chimney sweep so come the first nippy day I will be able to light my woodburner and use up some of my apple twigs that have been seasoning over the summer.
    Bring it on!

  5. I'm feeling the change to fall too! It's funny how our internal clocks click to lassitude with one season and expectation of the next... Enjoy the rest of summer though.
