Nature makes my world go round

I told you that all these broken pieces would inspire me to make something with them. Well, you just saw what I made with them. I have actually thought of making a real mosaic with the (inside of mussels) blue broken pieces of shells ... but I have no appropriate tool at all (I know I could buy them !) and I wonder if there would be a special glue that would not damage the shells. I would picture a beautiful bowl to put on a table runner ... what a lovely thought indeed. I'll maybe explore that this summer.

now, if we could all make something beautiful from/with the broken pieces of life, that would be oh so wonderful, wouldn't it be ?

I hope your Tuesday will go along nicely. Ours is overcast & smuggy, I think it will rain this afternoon, and I won't complain. Sending you all positive vibes, I'm sure you'll know what to do with them !

  3. You know, I think that first photo would make a beautiful fabric. Or at least an inspiration for a pattern on a skirt or something. Gosh I love nature.
