summer color week : yellow tuesday

today's color over at Poppytalk's Summer Color Week is yellow ... hard not to find yellow a bit everywhere, it's such a cheery color, both springy (think daffodils, dandelions etc) or summery (sun, lemons and so much more). Well in fact it's all around, turn your face, have a walk in town or in the countryside, and you can't miss a spot of yellow lichen, a yellow wildflower.

the temps have gone up up up here, it should go up to 35°C in the shade this afternoon. I'm sorry but, even though I was born & raised in the south (of France), high temps really get me down. I need some rain soon.

    I am loving yellow too, at the moment, it's just so cheery! Those images are lovely shades of yellow and if you are sick of the heat, feel free to send it my way!! I am over the cold, and we are not even halfway through winter yet..

    I love the yello and thanks for introducing me to Poppytalk - tre cool. Nope - don't speak French - just two or three little expressions I picked up from my French Canadian boss years ago. I'm very, very tired of the hot weather - was right at 100 degrees this past Sunday when we had our family reunion outside. Yikes! Rain sounds good to me too. And yes, like you, I was born in the South but of the USA.
