I could have posted this morning, but then time simply flew away from me. These following photos are my contribution to Poppytalk's summer color week. Today was green.of course I could have added a trillion photos of grass, leaves, fern, moss, and so on ... but I would have flooded the group & that was not the point !
what kept me VERY busy these past days was a custom order for a shop in the US, 100 orange gingham jam jar covers with the word JAM handstamped on cotton tape, itself sewn on top. I managed to make them all in two days, which was some kind of record for me !!and as if we were not busy enough with the end of school year, birthdays, birthday parties, custom orders etc, we spent the day in town, hubby, the boys & 11 of their friends, two extra adults, bouncing from a museum to another. We used one of William Forsythe's (American choregrapher) installations., then in the heat, walked a lot through town to get to another place, where we observed Tom Friedman's "Up in the air" installation. Over 650 objects were hanging from the ceiling. (click the photos to read more)we ended the afternoon by sharing a snack in the botanical garden.
I. Am. Pooped.
period.
