I may be famous now as the Frequent Cloud Watcher ... but this holds a good part of truth.
the wide window in the living-room feels like a giant screen, in which the sky & the clouds are ever changing. No need of television (for your information, we do not watch TV, the boys watch DVDs when they do want, but they're not into Spiderman or such things). Free show, 24h /day, 7 days/week. You can't say I don't share the show, I've shown here & on Flickr, more views from this window than I thought I could do ! (you may be a little bored by them now, though)
I love it when the sky turns pink, for a couple of seconds only, and that I pass by that window at this exact moment. I stop by, admire, smile & encapsulate this happy moment. I love it when the sun which goes behind the huge Celtis australis, in the evening, makes the whole living-room glow, makes lacy & moving shadows through the many branches. I love it when I can see a storm come, winter or summer. I can hear it, I can see it, I can smell it. (though rain in the city doesn't leave the same smell as rain in the countryside, you easily understand)
I love it when the clouds are bright white & puffy ... I daydream of flying there & lay on them, sleep or watch the city from there. Oh, and being there, I'd pick a small handful to put in my cup, of course. I bet it must taste ... heavenly ;-)I'm a daydreamer. A big daydreamer. But put a name on it the day I discovered its name/translation in English. Maybe, until that day, I had been a VERY discret daydreamer, and noone had noticed ... now I'm proud to say that I'm an Official Daydreamer !
hubby told me more than once that I was living in another world. Not always. Stepping back, I think he was not totally wrong .......
