bright yellow against these unseasonnably grey, muggy June days

I'm repeating, but the weather's so weird these days. Usually, over here, by this time of the year, you are already dying because of the heat (I knew years when June was hotter than July or August, that was crazy too !). Not this year. We're experiencing tiny rain showers, coming out of nowhere, and leaving you in a muggy weather, because it's not chilly neither. Weird, I tell you. Anyway, here ends the weather report.

we dyed with rhamnus alaternus / Italian buckthorn / nerprun alaterne, yesterday, and if you're eager to know what result it gave, then please follow me to the dyeing blog :

sunny yellows

hubby's been very kindly collecting some more, as well as other natural (and not endangered) materials, that I will use for solar dyeing tomorrow afternoon.

I hope you're having a great start of the week, girls. Much love,

xoxo

  1. your weather sounds as nutty as ours Sonia. Same here. Fine by me, but I never know how to dress. I can guarantee that at some point I'll need to add a layer/remove a layer.
    Still. It could be worse.

    Love that photo, very atmospheric.
