sometimes it's too hard to find a title

... that's true ... sometimes I have absolutely no idea for a title, just like today !

I didn't mean to disappear for a couple of day. With school starting again, my own rhythm got shaken too. And yesterday I had an appointment at the dentist's that left me foggy & groggy all the rest of the afternoon (I think that the last & 3rd anaesthesias knocked me down a bit). The only thing I wanted when I came back home was curling on the sofa & sleep. Which of course I didn't do, & hubby thought I was kind of crazy to put my pajama on at 6pm something only.

on the other hand, little one was having fever yesterday evening (around 38.7°C), so hubby slept in P's bed (P sleeping in my bed, with me ... what a mess) & kept an eye on him. Gave him paracetamol twice in the night (11pm & 4am). This morning he still had a bit of fever, and this afternoon & evening ... nothing. With no other symptom, I wasn't going to bring him to our doctor's ... we'll see if he'll sleep well this night & how he'll feel tomorrow morning.

this morning, I went to the post office & walked a bit further until the art suplly store. There, I had seen something that I thought I could use in a different purpose, if only I knew if it would fit what I have in mind. I checked today the measurements & it was totally perfect. I bought two of them. I'm talking about these :

masking tape holders

let me explain now. I was looking for something to hold my masking tape rolls, but that would not take too much space. The very few ones I saw on Etsy didn't satisfy me so I had to find something locally. I really REALLY would have loved to make something similar with salvaged/reclaimed materials, but, frankly, without any garage, attic, garden ... and having moved here not even a year ago, I don't have many useless material & DIY tools. So I had to get these in the art supply shop or I'd still be looking for something like that. But, frankly, with a minimum of material & tools, you could to this by yourself. (oh, btw, that's the printer under the dishcloth LOL)

this afternoon, lil* one was feeling better, no fever, so we could attend the show we had booked months ago. It is originally meant for children above 7, but really, now we've seen it, I don't think it was. There was no music, only two performers (including one lyrical artist) & was all about voice, and sound. The name of the play/show could be translated "Voice Plays", and I know some of you who would have enjoyed it. If you can read French, then you'll read more about it here. It's very hard for me to explain to you what was happening. I took very few photos, and here are the two I prefer. I really really digged the man's barn owl's costume :

loved his owl costume
been to the opera again

what else to say today ... not much more, I suppose. And I have bored you way enough already. I hope the middle of the week was kind with you. You take care, OK ?

xoxo
