that pretty sums up my current feelings. I'll spare you the details or the (known or unknown) reasons, because most of my thoughts these days are rather negative. It wouldn't be smart from me to spread the negativity. So I'll try to put a smile on my face & will show you the finished garland I'd been working on for the last couple of weeks, before adding the buntings on the rope.

it's a wedding gift (not from me) & I hope the future newly-weds will like it.
april
I love you & I hate you
and I don't know
what to think about you
everything in life
(+ life itself)
is nothing but a cycle
so ...
everything's gonna be alright
like Bob used to say

ReplyDeleteOh, and I love, love, love the new banner. You just keep getting better all the time.
ReplyDeleteI have the same thoughts sometimes. I think it's inevitable to have uncertain / negative times but you have a great attitude and you'll get through it! My very best wishes to you!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon. You will. I know it.
ReplyDeleteBut even when you feel a little down, you are still able to create such delightful things. Lovely bunting...sure to bring joy!
Hi Sonia,
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon.
Bless you sweetie!

My (now husband) used to say when we were dating "Egbar" which stood for 'everything's going to be all right". Your last photo made me think of that....
ReplyDeletethe bunting is lovely
I feel the same way right now. Tomorrow is a new day, right? Things will look up soon, I hope.
ReplyDeleteSonia, the garland is wonderful. I'm sure they will love it. I hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Katy
April is the cruelest month. . . HOpe you find the balance again soon.
ReplyDeleteSounds a lot like me, Sonia. I think it is quite normal, and life comes in waves. Sending you hugs, I know it is not easy. xxx
ReplyDeleteI just hate my internet connection ! third attempt at posting a comment here !!!! grrr
ReplyDeleteI was saying that once again the garland is very pretty !
and as for the rest, we'll all been there I think ! if i related to what you said on flickr, maybe you should stop searching that ahrd & questioning for a while, and let it find you instead ?
also, sometimes birthday months are no so easy...
i had a tough time trying to take a picture of my wrist yesterday (my 50mm is so heavy to carry in one hand & i shot manual so no choice !) i'll show you soon, thanks a whole bunch (again) & really sorry you need these words as a reminder, too...
damn it ! "relate" + "hard"
ReplyDeleteoops :(
I get exactly what you mean too Sonia. Sometimes I can't shake off a deep worry even though there is nothing I can do about it. I know why it's there, yet it's silly to worry about it.Just sometimes you can't help but give in to such feelings. Luckily such days are few and far between :O)
ReplyDeletehave a lovely Thursday xx
i am bursting with delight at the almost finished wedding garland
ReplyDeleteit is absolutely perfect
i am sending you a million hugs, hankie adorned kittie hugs, snail kisses from fern and family and you always know you have a friend in me
Thank you for making me smile with your little bunting collection, I love the birdie.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel more positive soon, it is horrid when you feel negative and just can't get yourself out of it for a while.

bises
PS : everything's gonna be alright, always!
sorry to hear your feeling down, I do hope it lifts soon for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comments on my blog always lovely to hear from you and your comments always give me a boost xxxx jenny
meant to say the bunting is just delightful! xx
ReplyDeleteLife! It certainly has its ups and downs and sometimes our journey takes us through some rugged terrain. On the wall in my office I keep the sign.. "Things always turn out in the end. If they haven't turned out yet, then it's not the end!" ..I wish I could remember where I copied the quote from... I love your bunting, it truly is a work of art.
ReplyDeleteno woman, no cry. too bad we can't all be men. i love how your blog comments read "X sweet girls stopped by". and i love the simplicity of your header. i think a lot about how attempting to create balance in our lives means embracing the good AND the bad. it's not always about finding a happy medium. it's being ok with the two extremes as our pendulum swings, and really appreciating those few moments when we're right in the middle of the balance. your creations are so beautiful. xoxo
ReplyDeleteSorry to read that you are not feeling top notch and that positive energy has left you for a while.
ReplyDeleteWork through it, try to do things that you normally like (even if you don't fin the same pleasure in doing them now) or perhaps try to do something you have never tried before...perhaps it helps...
