gorgeously sunny weekend
we couldn't have asked for more
saturday
after a morning of semi-laziness (note the "semi", thanks), we went to the zoo right after lunch. We didn't visit half of it but promised to go back there soon. It's only about 20mn by tram + bus from our home. I've taken several photos, which you can see gathered in a set by clicking the photo below (ostrich, close up).then after we came back home, I managed to make another made-with-scraps Moleskine, which I kind of heart a lot : It's in the Shop.
sunday
no way we can sleep in, the boys were up somewhere around 07.15am
around 9am, we were voting (yes, voting, people) & then morning was spent playing (the boys), working (hubby) & doing laundry & ironing -among other things- (me)
after lunch, hubby wanted to stop by his work, which we did, before going to the botanical garden.Highest temp this afternoon was 18.5°C / 65.3°F, which is more than springy, don't you think ? Spring's springing everywhere over here, here's one of the photos I took there. Click it & you'll see all the others too.And once we went back home, I baked apple + cinnamon + rolled oaks + prune muffins, dyed the cotton + linen with eucalyptus, cut hubby's hair, etc etc ... oh boy, I'm worn out.
I hope you all had a glorious weekend too !

Lovely photos as always Sonia. I have to laugh at your 'semi-laziness' there is no such thing for a busy mama!!!!! Even a relaxing trip out takes lots of sorting out beforehand! :O) Glad you had a lovely weekend, and got to do some crafting too!
ReplyDeleteWe had a lovely weekend too. My 'tiny afternoon tea' ended up taking most of the day to prepare and make! I wouldn't mind, but I only had quiche, sandwiches and a few cakes. Why do things have to take so long??!!
Sort of springy here. We've had a lot of rain again (in between sunshine) but then showers are a big part of spring, so that's ok! :O)
Have a lovely start to the week xx
