yesterday afternoon, a little carnival occured at U's school. It was small & lovely & he had a good fun. He likes things simple, and it was. He didn't need more than being dressed up, being with his friends, seeing his mama & papa, and throwing confettis all around ! :)yes his costume was a black bin plastic bag, and he had made a mask to put on his face, with whiskers and all (he was a country mouse) They were very lucky to have a sunny afternoon, and while it wasn't that warm, it wasn't that cold because of no wind. I noticed a blossoming tree in the playground & couldn't resist to take a photo, the blossoms were too delightful & delicate for words. Judge by yourself :before going to the carnival, I had a heap of motivation & before 3 & 4pm, managed to embellish a little (pocket) Moleskine, which is in the shop.I can't tell you how much it made me good to, at long last this week, touch thread, fabric & paper & actually MAKE something with them.
I hope you're all off to a great weekend.
Put your feet up, even for a little while.
You deserve it, you know you do.

so sweet Sonia! The carnival and the little notebook :O) I know exactly how you feel, to finally get round to doing something crafty. I've been a busy bee since Friday, and feel the same. It feels so nice to be creative again.
