I must be on a Moleskine roll right now as I made another one today. A bit different, but not that much, and with actual scraps, but from a garland that is still not finished, ugh. It's in the shop.
I really love to make them. You may have noticed that when I created, I create by wave. You've probably notice waves of lavender strawberries, then waves of wrist cuffs, then waves of pincushions, then waves of garlands ... I guess that's the way I work. By waves. Well, why not. LOL
I also listed a couple of things in the shop that I don't use anymore, because they're cross-stitch(ing) related.I have listed four different sets of three cross-stitch patterns booklets. One set is only Beatrix Potter themed, and the other three are country style. I'm going to list in the next few days, aida ribbons & a cushion cover (square & small) to embroider. You shall have a look in the shop if you're interested by such things.
I think I'll share tomorrow the results of the eucalyptus dyeing. I first dyed silks, and then this past Sunday, I dyed a piece of cotton & one of linen. Well, let's say that I'm eager to dye again with eucalyptus, once my mom will have brought me more, on Wednesday.
I hope you all had a great start to the last week of winter ! (or summer, if you're in the opposite hemisphere !)

Oh this is so pretty Sonia, you are doing a wonderful job! Hugs
ReplyDeleteHi Sonia! Love your little notebooks and the mixture of cloth patterns. We have a TV show called The Amazing Race and last night they were in France and I thought about you. The competitors need to get a baguette and I was amazed that some of them didn't know it was bread. It was fun seeing the countryside and I thought about you while watching the show. Enjoy the week ahead! (((Hugz)))
ReplyDeleteWaves are good. I feel the same sometimes...but I tend to splash in a few different waves at a time. :) hugs.
ReplyDeleteI love your notebooks, they are so pretty. I agree with the creating in waves, I find the same thing. Today I'm trying to think of something else I can make with ruffles, but so far my mind is a blank. I'll keep on thinking about it, there must be something I can make! :O)
ReplyDeleteYes, you have certainly tweeted a lot! It seems funny to think that we both found Twitter a bit strange at first, we both seem to enjoy it so much now!
Have a lovely Tuesday. Happy Creating! xx
Lovely Sonia. Wishing you a wonderful week ahead x
ReplyDeleteHi Sonia, love your creativity on these notebooks. Crafting comes in spurts for me, and lately I haven't accomplished anything. Guess I should get to work on something, I have had a box out with Easter supplies for a month now and haven't touched it.
ReplyDeleteHope your have a great week.
Hugs,
Cindy
