Activity Advent Calendar, day 2 : putting the tree up

Little one is not well & being feverish, and Chris will be leaving tomorrow morning at 05am for Paris, for two days (work). My mom shall come tomorrow morning, but I hope she'll be here before school time otherwise P will be obliged to stay home with me & U.

xoxo

Edited ... Doctor came home this evening, and said that apparently U has H1N1 ... ugh. Several children already got it in his school, and in P's school too ...
Just for you to know ... we haven't got a shot for H1N1 yet, because we should have received a letter allowing us to get that shot (and it's 1 mn from home !), but we still haven't received that letter. The doctor told us that now the pandemic is totally, it's quite useless getting vaccinated ... people should have been vaccinated BEFORE the pandemic, to prevent the pandemic. Very stupid France, once again.

Off school for a week now ....

  4. Oh poor U! :( I am so worried about H1N1 this year. I hope he feels much better soon.
I have a sick little one today as well. R woke with a runny nose, and has slept on, and off all day. I hope it is just a regular cold which will clear up in a few days.
I love all of your advent ideas :) Off to snuggle my little guy. I'll keep you guys in my thoughts, and hope that your Mom is able to help while Chris is gone.
    Lots of hugs xxxx

  5. Oh Sonia, poor little U, I hope he's not feeling too awful with it. Hopefully he'll be up and about and healthy and happy for his Christmas holiday. I'm sending good wishes for a speedy recovery and that the rest of you all stay healthy. Wish I was close enough to help :(

  6. Aw, I hope he feels better soon.
My daughter had it and pneumonia at the same time a few weeks ago. They advised us getting the vaccination anyway which we then had to receive a form to fill out-only a certain age group - and stand in line for hours!! Only 1 daughter allowed so far-Yikes- it's the same everywhere I guess.
    Stay healthy-
    Andrea

  8. I am sorry to hear that. Many friends here in Montana have gone through this flu and if I can suggest something, I am being told that oscillococcinum is very helpful with cutting down on the severity of it. I found a link here: http://www.oscillo.com/
This is an aweful flu, I do hope your little one feels better very soon.
    Hugs,
    Sarah
