{ Free camera }

Over the last ten years or so, we've been collecting fidelity points with our credit card, and this year, we finally decided to use them. Before having the idea of using them, I was curious about the prices for a good camera. I mean, a very good camera, the kind of Canon EOS 5D or Nikon D90 ... but once I looked at the prices, I realized it was clearly way too much for my wallet. (google a bit and you'll see, if you're not aware already ... or if you're not the lucky owner of one of these). Once back home, hubby had a moment of brilliance & thought about the fidelity point & I looked at the best camera I could have for our amount of points. Well, it's not that bad, and in two weeks from today, I shall have this baby in my hands ... and for free, please : a Panasonic DMC FZ28Z.
So this will be my (free) Christmas gift this year ! Talk about a deal LOL Can't wait to hold it & use it !

I just came back from shopping for food, and I'm almost off to grab U at school (hubby will grab P) MIL spent the day with her SIL, in town, and then she'll come here to stay with us until Sunday evening.
Tomorrow we have planned to go to the seaside (not to go swimming obviously !) so I hope the weather won't be too bad or too cold. We'll picnic there.
Todays is grey & started chilly but it's already mild again. It's annoying, believe me, you never know how to dress appropriately !
On Sunday weather is supposed to be rainy, so we'll stay home. Anyway I have toooooo many crafty projects to work on to go elsewhere ! And I have the advent calendar to finish preparing, arrrgh !

Chris is going to have a h*ll of a busy December, so it'll be just as awfully busy for me. He has four trips already planned (twice to Paris, twice to Marseille), in addition to his work in Montpellier. This guy works hard for his family, I tell you. And I'm thankful everyday.

Now, please everybody, enjoy your weekend, whatever you have planned to do, even if it's relaxing only. I'll leave you with some views of my creative space, that I dusted & cleaned this morning. (it never ends, I tell you, girls !!)
Big hugs to you all oxoxo
PS : I may blog during the weekend ...

  3. Woo hoo!! I'm excited for you! I long for a fancy camera too, but it will be a long while before I get one. I have to equate it in acorns...how many acorns would I have to make in order to get the camera I want? About 3000. Yikes! :D Have a great weekend! xoxo

  4. Love the new look Sonia and congratulations on the new camera. I took the plunge about 18 months ago and bought the old old Canon digital rebel and it was so worth the investment . Enjoy!

  5. Sonia, that's a nice camera! Very exciting. We had a Panasonic Lumix, but a different model and it was a super nice camera that took great photos every time. At some point maybe we will collaborate on the right camera bag for you :)

    I love seeing your work space and your WIPs.

  6. i can't wait to see the beauty you will capture with that new friend.
    I love my little camera but I think I work it too hard and although it is not even a year old I fear it is wearing out. I might be in the market for a new one after Christmas:)
