{ Busy autumn break }

Wow, goodness, another week has gone by ! We really did take advantage of this autumn school break to do lots ! And we're all so happy about that !
I didn't get many crafty things done, but well, when you're outdoors, exploring nature (or the city !), you aren't in front of your sewing machine or hand-embroidering, right ?!

So, since the last time I posted, we went to Paris for two days, on Oct 30th & 31st. Boy that was quick but we really enjoyed. We found our favorite places again, and it was kind of weird as they all felt so familiar (they were), but now we don't live there anymore.


In case you're wondering, this was the view from our bedroom at (Bercy) Novotel hotel.

On Sunday (the day after we returned from Paris), we had the visit of my inlaws', and then of my BIL, his partner and their baby girl (my niece). She was 18 days on Sunday. Gosh they change ever so quickly at that age !

And today, we went again to the place we found the fossils the last time. The weather was kind of tricky, windy, some light showers ... We did enjoy our stay there, and you can find all the photos I made clicking the photo below. I'll be showing the fossils we found, tomorrow on Flickr.


What else ? Well tomorrow is the boys' last day of the autumn break & Chris will be working (not at home) for the whole day, so it'll be a long day, but I hope it'll be full of many interesting things ... and I hope it will include crafting !!

I hope to be back with a more regular schedule. It was very freeing not to post everyday (or almost). I still have hands & head full of things to do, but little by little, I'm getting there.

{Rane} I am so super relieved to know you back home from hospital, you have no idea. I hope you'll get as much rest as possible. If only I could fly to your home & help you with laundry ... :(
