First, thanks a lot for your comments, I always appreciate them so much. I'm so happy you enjoy the photos I've been taking recently. I've been having so much fun indeed !
Yesterday was rainy & windy. Today is VERY rainy, VERY windy, stormy in a word. It's Wednesday, so the boys are off, we won't be obliged to go out, thank goodness, I'd be too scared that they'd fly away, like Piglet and his scarf ! LOL (yep, that's a blustery day indeed !)

Today will be a good excuse to stay cosy inside and have lots of indoors activities done (this afternoon is supposed to be VERY stormy) so I'll bid you farewell for today ... and maybe till next week.
It's not that I'm taking a break, I don't need an excuse for that, neither I don't need to justify myself or announce it here. But I feel I'm way behind all my ironing, all my crafts, everything. A bit overwhelmed, I must admitt. I need to take care of me, of my home, of my loved ones. And sometimes I feel like my mind is scattered all over the place. I need to focus on what is important, and my diary, as much it is necessary for me to keep it (for my own sanity), is not my top priority.
The boys will be on autumn break on Friday evening, for two weeks. During that break, we'll go two days to Paris. (Oct 30th-31st) We planned this tiny trip three months ago, so do you think we are excited to go back there ? I bet we are !
I have lots of things (like nature treasures) to organize & find a place for. I have a gigantic pile of ideas for crafts to do, and at the same time lots of WIPs (works-in-progress). I want to make things for my home, for my boys, for me. I want to start making things for Christmas, so that I won't spend all holiday seasons doing something else but enjoying the season.
I'm sorry if I owe you a visit(s), or if I owe you an email. I feel I'm behind so many things at the same time. I need a bit of time to slow down, clean my to-do list, and come back fresh & rejuvinated.
I hope you understand. I will remain present on Flickr, I'm pretty sure about that, so you can find me there if you need or want to.
I wish you all cosy autumn days ahead. Indoors, enjoying your loved ones, your home, candles, books, crafts & good music. Outdoors, enjoying Nature & its seasonal beauties, walking, breathing fresh air, laughing, observing.
You may need to slow down a bit, like me & re-focus on the most important things in your life.
Let me show you the way to the giveaways two of my friends are hosting. They're two wonderful & generous ladies.
{ Maya's giveaway } - { Abby's giveaway }
Before leaving, I'll show you two photos. One is of my littlest one, who, like his big brother, was gifted (by Chris & I) a fountain pen ... and like his big brother, seems to write very naturally with it. Can't believe that myself !

And this is one of the several carpets we bought yesterday with Chris. We've been wanting to buy carpets for a long time. Yesterday we went to a local shop which sells handmade carpets. We didn't know exactly how much we wanted to spend. After much (or not that much) consideration, we realized that it was better to buy handmade, high quality, natural & expensive, rather than mass made, poor quality, cheap ones. So yes, we've made an investment, for a lifetime. One big carpet, two mediums and two smalls. The big one was made in Iran, and the other in Afghanistan. They are 100% wool & just gorgeous. We are so very satisfied, and so very happy about our choice.

Time for me to leave.
You take care.
You enjoy your day.
You focus on the most important things for you
You are the best
