I'm breaking my break, or kind of ...
... to thank you for stopping by
... for giving you fresh news
... and to tell you that my break will be extended a little bit more (if you exclude this post of course)
... so ...
{thank you} for stopping by, for leaving a comment (if you did) or simply for visiting, even though I haven't posted for a week.

. we bought a new laptop last Friday, ugh thank goodness, because I thought I was going to break the old one for good with a hammer !
. we spent another Saturday, last weekend, looking for fossils (and finding many of them, they are 200 millions years old !!!), and we had tons of fun again, and plan seriously to go back there before the boys start again school (they're on autumn break) next Thursday. You can see lots of photos, simply clicking the following photo :

. on Sunday afternoon we visited a mushroom & autumn flowers exhibition
. on Tuesday (well, yesterday), we took the train & stayed at my parents' for the day. We went to the very local Gallo-Roman archeologic site of Ambrussum. We had a nice moment there, and you can see many other photos simply clicking the following photo :

. we're going to Paris for two days on Friday & Saturday. We had planned this trip three months ago so we are very excited to go back there, if only for two short days. We want to go back to the science museum (Palais de la Découverte), I have to go buy fabrics in Montmartre, we want to go eat in our favorite places (yep, greedy + sentimental people we are, ahah) ... just to name a few : Ekxi & Starbucks ...
And as we've been pretty out & about this past week, I had loads & load of laundry done ... and not so much ironing done ... so that's what I spent most my day today ... ironing, ugh. (PS : I know you've always dreamt of seeing my ugly ironing board, so I'm sharing ... yes, yes I know, we're all in the same boats, laundry never ends, never ever, I hear your pain, girls)

Before stopping for today, and until next week, I wanted to show you the way to the wonderful shop {OAKMOSS} of my friend Amber. She handmakes soaps with simple, organic ingredients. They're scented with only pure essential oils and dried botanicals. I bought a Lavender Citrus blend soap & the moment it reached my home, it filled it with the soothiest, freshest fragrances ... I'll be back for sure, and I hope you'll pay her a visit. She also handmakes beeswax, soy wax & essential oil candles. :)

Well, must go, times flies (goodness it really does) and I haven't made half as I had planned to do. So, well, friends, unless you follow me on Flickr, see you soon ...
I hope you are doing fine & enjoying this very end of October. :) Sending you all tons of hugs oxoxox

ReplyDeleteHave a nice break!
And, yet, you take such a lovely picture of your "ugly" ironing board that it doesn't look ugly, but more like a lovely little domestic scene my friend :-)
ReplyDeleteBest Wishes!
Is THAT what an iron is for? I've only used mine for ironing wool and watercolor paper...
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a very lovely time in Paris. I look forward to see pics. xoxo Lisa

ReplyDeleteHi Sonia,
ReplyDeleteHaven't stopped by here for ages....nor anywhere else for that matter! We're busy packing now which you will know all about!! Moving just before Christmas to somewhere your boys would love as it's called the Jurassic coast. In fact just last week a massive dinosaur was discovered on a beach about 2 miles from where we'll be living. here's a link to it as I bet your boys will be fascinated!
