Now, I'm back with goodies, and I hope I'll have some more for the shop update I'm planning to have on Wednesday ! In the meantime, I can show you what's ready to fill the (virtual) shelves of the shop !

We had planned to make Nigella Lawson's lemon linguine this past weekend, but it never happened. BUT ... it did happen today for lunch !! If you love easy, fast recipes, pasta, cream, lemon and parmesan cheese, than this is a recipe for you. It's so good & easy that they're on top of my favorite pasta recipes !

LEMON LINGUINE
For 4 to 6 persons (according to greediness)
- 750 g dried linguine
- 2 egg yolks
- 50 g freshly grated parmesan and some more to taste
- 150 ml double cream
- zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 15 g butterPut the pasta in to cook in boiling salted water.
Put the egg yolks into a bowl and beat with a fork. Add the grated parmesan, cream, lemon zest and juice and whisk. You don't want the sauce fluffy, just combined.
As soon as the pasta is cooked, drain it and then, off the heat, toss it back in the pan. Throw in the butter and stir it about. Make sure that the butter melts and the pasta is well coated. Then add most of the sauce and turn the pasta well in it.
Tip the pasta into a serving bowl and add the rest of the sauce, a final smattering of parmesan. Serve at once ...
I'll leave you here for today, but I suppose you can expect craft (and shop) related posts this week ... :)
Have a super wonderful start of the week ! oxoxox

So cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a yummy pic! :) Zeno and I like lemon linguine too. Our recipe doesn't have butter and eggs - just cream, juice of two lemons + zest, parmigiano and parsley.
ReplyDeleteYour jam jar cover are so cute, my granny used to cover our jars with them too. Nice memories...
Nite nite, have a crafty and happy Wednesday!
