Today was back to school day for the boys.
New schools to discover.
New teacher (a man for P, a woman for U).
New fellows to meet, soon friends-to-be.
New rhythm to get, both for them & for us.
New walk to school. So long. All by foot. And Chris & I do it 4 times a day. Have a tiny thought for us please, thanks. (4 times walking up the stairs, and we live on a kind of little hill, thanks)
Lots of new things to get used to, don't you think ?
I tried to make the most of the *free* time of this particular day (back to school day is like no other day in the year, right ?), and worked like a bee on new pincushions, which I hope, will be part of a shop update sometimes soon.

Wishing you a good end of the week ! oxoxox
I was thinking ...how long do they have for lunch? If it is not too long then maybe a picnic at a local park...then return to class...so alot less travel, alot more fun, and you get fresh air, throw the lunch in a bag or backpack..and go. Even if this is
ReplyDeleteonce or twice a week it is a great break.
I think that they will have more time to eat and relax because of the travel being close
to their schools.
Happy firstday boys...have a great night.
Loads of love to you and your beautiful
family. You are all in my thoughts.
Rane and kids..

ReplyDeleteHope P and U had a fab first day of school! :)
ReplyDeleteWith all these ups and downs you will be more then fit in no time :D and will be able to eat plenty of yummy croissant and pain au chocolat (I miss them so much here!). ;)
Have a happy weekend, hugs!!
... and my English sucks, LOL! Sorry!
ReplyDeleteAll these new changes, it all sounds so exciting. Wishing you a wonderful weekend XX
ReplyDeleteone thing that I have realised this past week, is just how much I need to manage my time, in a better way than I do now. I have LOVED not posting, and will take regular breaks. Time is so precious offline, I need to have weeks where I don't bother much with online life. Every time I take a break I come to this conclusion, and every time I end a break I get sucked back into posting and visiting, using up the small gaps of time I have for myself. I know you know what I mean. Anyway. Just wanted to say hello, and to thank you for leaving comments while I was taking my break. So nice to come back and find little messages :O)
ReplyDeletehope the first days of school went well for your boys. School started here this week too. I am making the most of having my little one at home with me until next year. I know she'll love school, and I'll love taking her and picking her up, but for the time being I just love having her with me every day :O)
