{ New Creative Space }

I can finally show you (unless you follow me on Flickr & you have already seen them) the photos of my new Creative Space ! Woohoo ! Nothing extremely fancy, all furniture was bought at Ikea. I wish, I really really wish I could have thrifted gorgeous things but I don't have a car, and it would have taken forever to reach the same result. So, basically, we bought two sets of Ikea "Expedit" shelves (4x4 "cubes"), and two desk add-ons. (don't know how to call them)
So this was the day they got delivered & assembled (NOT by us, it would have taken for-e-ver !! it was def worth paying more !) ...Then this was the day when almost everything was at its final place ! Woohoo !As you can see, computer side is on the left, and on the shelves on that side of the area, are displayed lots of cookbooks & craft books. (and the kids' cartoons too) On top are precious gifts from friends & a vintage leather case that my mom gave me. On the right side, the sewing/crafty area, where the machine, fabrics, buttons, trims etc etc ... reside. On top of the shelves, glass jars, one contains embroidery floss, another contains hemp twines & other strings, and one is empty, for the moment I must add ! I think (and I had a vague idea it would be so) it helped bringing my mojo back, and I have started sewing and embroidering again, first for making a gift for a friend. This is what's on my table right now. And this shows the start of a project I've been trying to figure out for a couple of weeks. I think I got a good idea, and with the help of my hubby, I hope we'll make it come true. Nothing extravagant, but if it works fine, I'll show you the result ! :)OK, time to go to bed, tomorrow is U's 5th birthday, so we'll have my parents, inlaws & brother-in-law (it'll be his birthday too) at home. We'll be busy as you can guess. My baby will be five. I can't believe how fast these five years went by ...
