We're back !
It's been three berry good days, we really had a blast ! Just what we needed to reload our batteries. It was just a lot warmer than we thought it would be, the south was having a heatwave (and it's still very hot, too hot for ol* me).
I'll make long short because, really, I don't have the time to resize the 350+ photos I made in three days. I posted a loooot of them on Flickr, if you are interested to see them all. (101 photos & 5 videos)
Some of our best memories are on the Aigoual itself, picking wild blueberries ... and in the forest picking wild raspberries & woodland strawberries ... oh my, yum, what a delight !
We also saw a trillion gorgeous wildflowers, ferns, lichens, mosses, butterflies, dung beetles, grasshopers ...
We've been busy since we came back yesterday, doing laundry (three loads, thanks), shopping for food, and so on ... U has been feeling feverish for a day now, and his birthday will be next Tuesday ... and the boys will go back to school in 12 days (Sept 02nd), so you guess my mind and hands are pretty busy right now, trying to hang on to summer vacations ...
I hope you had good days since I last posted. I'm trying to catch up with your news, but I'm clearly no WonderWoman, please forgive me, my friends.

Ah you guys sure look like you had a wonderful time. Your photos (as always, you're such a photographer) look so beautiful. You've really captured nature. I wish I could explore your beautiful country...one day we will.

The twisters touched down around our town but we didn't even experience strong winds here, only some fierce rain. We only lost power for a few minutes. Thanks for thinking about me and I love all your nature pictures. This week has been so busy I haven't spent as much time in the forest. That is where I will be heading after the update.
