{ Beach, home and garden }

Yesterday was a day of real stress for me (my parents at home - therefore a big tension whenever my father & hubby are in the same room ... I can feel my heart tie & my throat make knots, and I can hardly breath) but anyway, who wants to know ? :( Sometimes I wonder if life wouldn't be simpler for my heart if my dad wasn't there anymore, which sounds like awful, right ?
OK, let's talk about something else, shall we, pretty please.

Today we went to the beach, for the first time this summer. It was so nice. We stayed there 08.30am to 11.30am, before the sun gets too hot & unbearable. I'll let you enjoy the photos.These are what I picked this morning on the beach.Now I wanted to show you the first use I found (but that was a VERY easy one, I must admitt !!) for all the yoghurt glass containers I had saved, in Chessy. Tea light candle holders, of course. First test, yesterday evening ...And this afternoon, although being much tired by the beach & the warmth (yep, mucho caldo over here), we went to the botanical garden !I could show you many other photos, but I'll rather invite you to check my Flickr.
I hope you've been having a good week so far.
Thanks so much for stopping by, have a lovely day ! oxoxo

  1. I'm sorry for your family situation-sometimes it's not easy making everyone happy? ;)
    I love the tealight candle holders- I always save my glass yogurt containers-sometimes I buy them just so I can use them for projects like this!

  3. Oh Sonia you don't sound awful.My father is my father but my most relaxing times are when I have been out of contact with him for long periods.I look forward to him going to Antarctica for example! If he was not here I would be a better person (calmer and more confident)and my boys would not be learning the angst that comes with my father.Still?
    I am so glad you have a gorgeous time at the beach.Lovely photos.x

  4. hmm. family hassles. A pain. I will be dealing with it myself this weekend, but it's SIL's that are doing my head in nowadays. :O(

    Lovely photos as always Sonia. Particularly the yoghurt jar tea light holders. A beautiful photo and a beautiful idea.

    Thanks for stopping by at CR and for your kind words :O) Much appreciated.

    Hope you are having a lovely (and stress free!) Thursday.

  5. I tried to read every word and focus on all your beautiful pictures but I kept going back to the wonderful shells. It makes me miss the east coast of Canada and all the wonderful beaches there. I don't think I will make it out there this summer. The best spot I have ever seen for hermit crabs was in Prince Edward Island at singing sands beach.
