"Arts & Crafts" Tuesday : Pincushion making addiction

Well, yes, I'm going to bore you some more with my pincushions because it seems (and I know I'm repeating) that it's one of the only things I manage to find time for, these days.
The following photos are pincushions that already made their way to the Shop. You can see front & back of each of them. Summer Pincushion

Red, White & Blue Pincushion

Both have been hand-embroidered, and I think I can't wait to be settle in our new home, for good, to find time for bigger projects than pincushions. (embroidery speaking, I mean)

WIPs (Work In Progress)

In the meantime, this past weekend I prepared some more pincushions, and I'm sewing & embroidering them, one by one, slowly but surely. And I hope to have most of them in the shop today or tomorrow, or in the next couple of days.
I have planned to close the shop approximately from mid-June to mid-July, but obviously everything will depend on how much I will have managed to pack at that time. (for June, or to unpack, for July) So if you want to get something before I close, I'd advice you to do so before mid-June, otherwise you'll have to wait till the middle of July.

This evening (05.40pm), both the boys will have an appointment with their ophtalmologist, just for a routine exam, the last before we move.

OK, time for me to move. Time always fly by, right ? Have a delightful day, my friends. And do take care !
xoxo

  5. I think that it's lovely that you are enjoying making the pincushions so much, and that hopefully they are selling well too. It's so nice when you find your 'thing' that you make well and like to make, and other people like too :O)

No, no storm here I'm afraid. I live in hope though! It feels more like Autumn at the moment. So much so that I made a pumpkin pie this morning. It just felt like thing to bake! It's sunny, but incredibly windy. At times it's felt really chilly. I know we have rain expected tomorrow, and I can't wait!

Thanks for the very early visit this morning :O) Much appreciated.

Time I was off. Have a lovely evening xx
