Wow, now that was a loooong shopping trip around the world, wasn't it ?! :) I hope you enjoyed ! I'll have to make another post about shops I've shopped from, another post about shops of other lovely persons, another post about some of my favorites ... (it could be long, I must have over 400 favorite items & 700 favorite shops .... eeeek) Um, I should probably do some spring cleaning in these areas, I suppose ... :D

I hope you're having a lovely Tuesday. The weather is totally autumnal here, it's amazing how almost cold it is ... while it's 30°C in Québec right now ... isn't that right, Lina ?

What's the weather like today in your corner of the world ? Seasonal or not ?

xoxoxo

  1. How sweet of you! I love this post, such amazing work here. I'm flattered that you've included me, my sweet friend.

We're enjoying(?) 28F this morning. :( We had one beautiful day last week and it's been rain and cold since then. Ho hum, such is spring in Minnesota. Soon we'll have lovely weather, I can feel it.

  2. lovely virtual shopping trip Sonia! Some fab creations.

Just been catching up with your previous days post. I love the crochet lace, such gorgeous colours. and I'm not surprised you liked the labels on the boxes. Reminds me of a set you had years ago, I think it was the 'my diary' set, didn't you draw labels similar to the ones on the boxes? :O) I remember these things!

Thanks for visiting. I just came back to look for something on the 'net and saw I'd had a visitor!

oh yes, about the treacle tin. Do try the idea, it's so nice to find a way of using pretty tins instead of recycling them. They would make handy storage pots or money boxes too. I am going to crack open my golden syrup tin soon (love it just poured on toast for breakfast!), so I can use that in the same way too :O) It isn't too hard to clean them out. Just make sure they are as empty as possible and then use washing up liquid and hot water, as hot as you can bear. They soon clean up nicely.

Time I was off. Trying to source things for my next project. Keeping quiet about it for the time being as it will take me a long time to work on. I'm enjoying finding what I need for it first! xxxx

  3. Hello Sonia,
I thought it was about time I raised my head again in public after lying low for hmmmm 7 weeks now (can't believe it's been that long). Hopefully one of these days I will find the time to catch up with what I've missed here but I love your post today, such a lovely thing to do raising the profile of all these highly talented people! My personal favourite would have to be the patchwork pottery, what a great and unique idea.
Hope all is well with you and your boys.
    Nikki xx

  4. Thanks for sharing your round the world tour of crafty friends! I'll know who to ask when I'm looking for something. I really should find some cute baby decor items now that Ryan has his own room. I've seen some cute painted letters on ebay before. that would be cute on the wall of his room. (((Hugz)))

  7. Wow , I wasn't expecting to see my little merfish here today. Thanks so much and look at the beautiful company they are keeping . I think you have managed to introduce me to some lovely fellow countrians. It was like summer here when we returned from spring in austria with all the wild flowers and trees in blossom. My magnolia usually doesn't bloom until mid may and the first blossom appeared yesterday to herald my return.

  9. I love your photos of all your favourite shopping objects!
I live in the middle part of Norway (not South, not North, but in the middle). We have normal Spring weather here, now. 2-7 degreez Celsius, some days are sunny (but often when we have sunny days, it's blowing a cold wind from North, some days are very rainy.) But this is how we is used to have our Spring, and we really appriciate each day with sun, and are happy for each time we can be in our garden. (I love to work in our garden.)

I wish you a nice Springtime.

    Hugs from Bente

  10. Hi Sonia, I am so ashamed for not stopping by more. The days just have been flying by. I've had friends staying, and getting to the computer has been impossible. I still have a little parcel here for your birthday, how terrible unorganised am I? Will you forgive me?

Love your kind post today, always thinking of your friends, that's so like you, dear you.

Hope your plans for moving are coming along well. Take care, much love ClareXXXX

  11. Such lovely links, so much talent everywhere.
We had warm weather early, then cold and cloudy, then very warm and summerlike which was nice because my son had a very looooong cricket match I sat through (not my game too much hanging around, not enough action.) Our weather seems to change every five minutes - life on an island I guess. ope you have a sunny Thursday:)
