Oh yes, it's been quite a blustery night, and morning too ! Phew ! It's very windy, cold & raining too, what a happy mix, I tell you ! And I had to go shopping for food this morning, no matter the weather ! My shopping trolley almost flew away on the way to the mall, eeeek !! (but that was hilarious anyway !) So I thought it was THE day to say, it's not Tuesday today, it's windsday !! Eh eh ! The image above is taken out of one of my (not the boys') Winnie the Pooh books. (Bibliothèque Rose, if you're French, you'll know what I mean)
In other news, U has a good ol' cold, poor little one, he coughs & his nose is running so much that it hurts. :( He didn' t have a good night, so we didn't neither. On the other hand, P slept well (didn't get woken up by his bro) and has not a cold. (keeping fingers crossed)
Yesterday as I was sewing other lavender strawberries, I had to catch my camera to capture something lovely. As I was working with the lacy/crochetted trims, a heart formed & I thought it was a nice idea to take a pic, and I love how it turned out to be.
I worked on three sets of three strawberries. I'm almost running out of lavender. I asked my mom to bring me what she has in stock. (not much, she said) so then it means I'll have to wait till next summer to pick & dry lavender again, to be able to make new lavender filled items. (boohoo, that makes me sad ! I'm loving to work with lavender, and don't even imagine to buy dried lavender, it would never be the same)
I'm off to put this first set of 3 lavender filled strawberries ornaments, to the shop . Once this will be done, I will try to finish the two other sets (of 3 ornaments, as well), and hope to list them right away too. (but a woman can dream, right ?)
I also relisted Felt Licorice Wheels, they almost look like the real ones, and come with a real licorice wheels as extra gift.

Oh, I love that little floral strawberry on the right. How fun to see Winnie the Pooh in French. We have a cartoon characher here (old time one) called Pepe le Pu. Not sure if I spelled that correct but he's a French skunk. :) Hope U feels better and don't blow away in that wind! (((Hugz)))

ReplyDeletehi sonia...my thanks for your condolences. we're doing ok but it is such a busy time. i was so glad i was able to visit her just a few weeks ago before my boys became ill. she woke up to be able to see Fiona which is now such a special memory.

Sorry your little U has a cold, poor little guy. All this wind...I am longing for spring. Hope he's better soon...I've heard laying on the sofa, with a blanket and cartoons and ice-cream are the best medicine LOL
