I was sharing these photos on Flickr so I thought I'd post them here too. These show a coffee table play mat my mom had sewn for the boys, two years ago, when, at the time, I was far less crafty than now. I had drawn & she had made it come true. All fabrics were salvaged, so that's a beautiful example of re-using old clothes or fabric bits.Close-ups
As promised weeks ago, here is another Minuscule video ... enjoy ! :D And have a great weekend too ! xoxo

Thanks so much for your kind words about the bedroom declutter, it was so worth doing this, it looks so nice now !

  1. Oh my Sonia, I was just reading up on your latest events and I followed your link to the Brio story... What a truly heart warming little story, it just brings tears to my eyes thinking of it :-) How beautiful, and yes, it is so, so sad that companies such as Brio no longer have the finances to continue, so, sad :-( The boys' room looks fabulous too, very clean and calm, you've done very well my Sonia :-)
    Wishing you a lovely weekend!

  4. Hello,
How much your blog has developed Sonia, it really is lovely with so much to read and look at!
Another Minuscule that I hadn't seen before, hilarious! Unfortunately I'm only able to show the children the ones on the Minuscule website as our school computers have a firewall which stops us from viewing youtube :( I'm going to have to find a way around it!
That's so sad about Brio, they seem to have been around forever and no one else makes such high quality toys.
The boys bedrooms look wonderful, will they stay like that :)
    Hugs xx

  6. Hi Sonia! Well, you're taking after your mom with the sewing and creative talents. What a great idea to make a playmat with recycled fabrics. The boy's bedrooms look adorable. If Jessica has another boy, they can share a room like that. :) Enjoy the rest of the weekend! (((Hugz)))
