Just.The.Three.Of.Us

My parents left a bit before noon, and now we're only the three of us ... the boys & I. My MIL will arrive tomorrow at the end of the afternoon & we'll go grab her at the train station.
So we're now the last week of February, time really does fly by, doesn't it ?! Chris will be back on Friday, but each day far away from him is tough in itself, I'm missing him so much.
It's been raining all morning, and the last days were plain grey, wet & cold. Last time we saw the sun was last Thursday !Nevermind, spring will arrive when it will arrive, and I think I'm going to enjoy each & every of these grey, foggy, rainy days, because they're not that frequent in the south of France. I can't believe that we're almost in March & that we may move in June, or in July. It's going to be busy months ahead ...
Yesterday my mom & I kept busy, using red waffle cotton towels I bought last October (I had bought the same in green & had used them to make coasters & half aprons as Christmas presents, remember ?), and a towel I also bought last year at Zara Home, to make : a toaster cover, a bread (serving) basket cover & a bag-o-gab (bags for holding the very few plastic bags we get now).We also sewed eight red terry towels for the kitchen with red terry & bits of the same towel from Zara. (no photo though)
I made a new banner for the blog (see on top) and I'm pretty happy with the result. :) Also changed the font & color, and I hope it still remains easy to read, and pleasant to look at.I've several new (lavender) strawberries in the making, but it's tough to make time for these, these days. It seems to me that there are less hours in a day everyday ..... How will it be when I'll start making boxes again ?????! When will I find time to craft a bit & keep my sanity ?!!! Aaaaghhh !!! Oh well, I better not even think about it. Before making boxes, we first have to find a nice place to live. Among a million other things to do !
