Happy February everyone ! (could have said that yesterday already but I forgot !) Yep, hubby is back, and back to work already too.
Yesterday was sunny though cold, but we decided to walk to Disneyland; but not to enter the parks. Stay around the lake & the hotels. Just perfect for us four. Went there after lunch. On our way there I took a couple of photos, and you can see the first on top.

The others are following. As you'll be able to see, the lake was half frozen again & full of black-headed seagulls.

Today ... at last U's teacher is back, so both the boys are in school as I'm typing. We woke up to a good layer of snow, which was super nice, but now it's raining/drizzling & turning all the snow into a giant muddy puddle, which itself will turn into a giant skating rink when it will start freezing later today. (which I hope NOT)

I'm about to save all my photos & files on the external driver, like I do each 1st or 02nd day of the month, so I shall advice you to do the same today ... just in case. :)
Off to craft a bit, housework can wait a bit more ... eheh. These days, my music fuel is ... The Beatles !! It gives me such an energy, it's amazing ! I hope it will give you some too ! Have a great start to the new week !! Big hugs oxoxo
PS : gotta love the dancers at the very beginning of the video ... get prepared to have a good laugh ! LOL
Good morning, Sonia! :) It's snowing here too :D but rain is on its way and the dash of snow will be gone soon. Lovely seagulls photos :) Have a happy Monday with your men, dear. HUGS and smiles your way! Ciao!
ReplyDeleteah yes, must save to my external too -- thanks for the reminder. And oh how I love the Beatles (and my wristwarmers, and my gingerbread birdie that greets me at my desk every time I sit down = )
ReplyDeleteHappy February to you too!!
Hi Sonia! Glad Chris is back and U's teacher, too! I had those white go-go boots! I remember seeing The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show- I think I was around 12 or 13 and then I saw them at the Hollywood Bowl. Saw The Rolling Stones back then, too. It was a fun time to be a teenager! (((Hugz)))
ReplyDeleteCiao Sonia, me again. I wanted to ask you if it's tru that "Chandeleur" is "crêpes' day" in France. :) Happy evening, still snowing here :D
ReplyDeleteGreat photos...as usual! And your new blog banner looks great!
ReplyDeleteMy first favorite song that I can remember as a little girl was Yellow Submarine...
