My computer table, yesterday afternoonI can't deny that I'm a lover of all colors. Many years ago, it wasn't totally the same. There were colors that I liked a lot, and other that I didn't tolerate much or didn't let enter my universe, such as orange. Not that I hated orange, but that was a color that didn't appeal much to me. OK, now it doesn't come in a huge quantity in my everyday life, but as you can see in the photo above, I think it looks great in a bouquet with other colorful flowers.
I usually get inspired by color, even though it's hard to realize. It's so much fun playing with colors, and I know I'm not even at a stage of daring to mix them a lot. I like to match them a lot, but I clearly see that I will soon mix AND match them all. I don't know if what I'm saying here is clear for anyone, but oh well, I had to say it. :)
A thrird set of lavender strawberry ornaments, which looks very similar to the 1st one, went to the shop yesterday afternoon.
I just adore how the "head/top" looks from above ...Marie-Claires Idées is in the stand now. It comes only every three months, so each issue has to be savoured ... Here come some of my favorite parts of this issue ... enjoy ! :)
And here is a link-o-link I want to share with you, because I'm toying with the idea of making something for this fun & lovely concept ... it's The Toy Society. I'm sure some of you already read/heard about it, but it's so good to share if you didn't know. And they collect handmade toys for the survivor children of the Bush Fires in Victoria (Aust.), who lost their homes & all of their toys. These children need comfort & support & new toys made with love may add a little smile on their face & heart.

ReplyDeleteAs you know I had a "hate" relationship with pink ;) but now I can like it... every now and then. LOL! Lovely flowers, my parents' have plentry of them in their garden in Spring. I miss having a garden. :/ Have a happy day, hugs from Scotland.

ReplyDeleteI used to hate pink, but since my daughter was about 2 yrs old I have come to love it. When she was born I even tried not to get her any pink clothes. A relative sent her a box full of pink baby clothes and since then I was forced to put up with it. I guess the color finally "grew" on me. ;)

Good luck with the toy making if you decide to do it. It is very sad to hear about the fires in Australia. I hope more people will do what they can to help.
