I went to the hairdresser's this morning (I go once every two months, so that's a treat when it happens) while my mom looked after the boys. And then the afternoon was spent taking care of their bedroom. First, sorting out all of their artworks. I can tell you that two boys can accumulate a huge ton of drawings & paintings in almost 2 years !! And we still kept a loooooot of them. We sorted out their bits & bobs. (man, these boys love to collect all kind of things !) And then I hoovered & cleaned everywhere. And also hoovered the whole appartment, while I was at it. (yeah, while I had the hoover in hand, why not hoovering the rest ?!) We brought 4 bags of stuffs to the recycling bins, and also kept some to give to friends & to the boys' school. Phew, that was an exhausting job, kind of therapeutic I must add, but it was so worth it, specially that I moved P's bed, and I should have done this from the start, it's so much better like this, and they both love it to bits !! (lesson learned for the next appartment !) There were trillions of their drawings & paintings on the walls, but it gave such a cluttered look to the room, and also darkened it a lot. Now it looks so much lighter & cozy & sweet. I'm happy, I really am.

I'm also relieved that they loved it, it's kind of preparing them for a bigger change that is the move. (changing town, school, friends, habits, appartment, and bedroom)

I think we can say that the BDABCM is done for this room, phew !!! :D
