Wisdom

Um. Thankfully I do not need to speak to post an entry on this blog. An hour ago I went to see my sweet dentist, who removed in two minutes only a wisdom tooth that had been bothering me the past months. No pain yet, but the anaesthesia is something quite painful & remains a long time. I just took medicines & antibiotics, but the glass (of water, to take the pills) on my lips was oh my god one of the weirdest feeling I ever had, I had the awful feeling half of my bottom lip didn't exist, was invisible, you see what I mean ?! WEIRD ! Oh well, a glass of cold cocoa will probably be my dinner tonight as he told me not to eat/drink anything warm tonight. I think I'll take things easy this afternoon/evening.

OK, so let's move on to something nicer, shall we ?...
Yesterday, right before my inlaws arrived, (you should have seen me, really) I was like a mad woman, sewing a set of 6 coasters & a half apron for my MIL's Christmas present. I finished 10 mn before they arrived at the train station. OH MY. How nut am I ? I used two green waffle cotton tea towels & a colorful cotton napkin to make them. Although they are not MY type of colors, I know they will match my inlaws' kitchen nicely. I hope she'll enjoy !And here is a pic of one of the tea cups + saucers I bought (at a very interesting price) & filled with yummy caramel candies, for the boys to offer to their teachers, right before leaving on Christmas break, next Friday. I think they're lovely. :) (PS : it's not really a tradition in France to offer a little something to the teachers for Christmas, but I thought it would make a lovely little gift)Activities Advent Calendar - Day 12 : Drawing with fabric pencils, on fabric, and make a Christmas decoration for the tree or our home, that I will fill & sew myself. (they will draw, I will sew) Photos tomorrow as they haven't made it yet.
