I'm sorry I'm repeating, but Wednesdays are so busy & so full of things to do. On Wednesdays, the boys are at home, and I still have to do the housework, plus (trying, at least) keeping them busy. But this ain't that easy ! This morning I spent a good time washing the dishes, unloading/loading the dishwasher, and ironing a lot (but prob. 1/3 of what I had to do). And keeping them busy. But these little guys (like all little guys, I suppose, but all the little guys aren't mine ! LOL) love to make their mama crazy ! Aaagghhh ! This afternoon we went shopping for food, and brought my red coat to get drycleaned. Bought bread & went back home. I had pre-prepared prune muffins (everything was ready but the prunes I had to cut & mix everything). So I baked these when we came home, and cooked a bit for tomorrow. And washed the dishes, again. And kept the boys busy. And answered the phone, several times. My inlaws will arrive tomorrow evening. (MIL will stay till next Friday, but FIL will leave early on Sunday) By the end of the afternoon, we finally did the advent activity of the day.
Activities Advent Calendar - Day 10 : imaginating, drawing, and making a Christmas themed little book. I sewed several pages together & off they started. P (almost 6 and a half) was more into it & needed little help. But U (almost 4 and a half) was a bit more difficult to involve. Not that he doesn't like drawing or writing, but he was probably tired by then & was unhappy to go slower than his brother.
Speaking of him, here is a pic of what we brought home yesterday after school. A beautiful star shaped candle holder ! It looks very pretty !
I'm a bit tired this evening, Chris was meant to come back home late, and it already is. (it's 10.05pm as I'm typing) U woke up not very long ago (shortly after falling asleep) crying & crying & not letting me know what was wrong with him. I managed to put him back to bed, but I still wonder what was wrong. Yes, a mama does worry for the smallest things. But I can't help it. Oh well, I'll leave you with two pics. One of presents I wrapped yesterday evening ...
