Dear visitors & friends, if you think I'm too early speaking about Christmas & putting my Christmas tree up, or if you're already fed up with me writing Christmas themed entries, than please turn your eyes, because here come some more Christmas goodness !! *Ü*
On Sunday when I took the decorations out of their box, I was also happy to find all the Christmas themed DVDs. Mostly cartoons, and they've not been played yet, but there is one DVD we've never been able to resist (since the moment we bought it, that is, of course) ... it's Irvin Berlin's "White Christmas" musical. Of course we skip uninteresting scenes for the boys, and focus on the dancing/singing parts of it, and boy there are great ones ! Please let me share with you some of them, that I was so glad to find on YouTube (oh, thanks !!)And there is also this ...And also this ... (OK that's the last !)I hope you enjoyed :D

Hi Sonia - 'Love the movie White Christmas. Danny Kaye and Vera Ellen are wonderful. Have you ever watched Holiday Inn? I like it too. Lots of singing and dancing. I received our internet provider's magazine yesterday and it featured a link to Etsy.com saying its "truly unique". I hope it helps. Happy Thanksgiving blessings to you. I am slowing down a bit now, and doing more of my own projects with not too much pressure.... and soon-ish I will put up my tree. My husband is a firm believer to put up the tree one day before Christmas, so needless to say I will have to beat him up. Life if pretty mad here though, and I shall have to sit down and write you a proper email, and not the rushed mad ones that every body has been getting off me for months now. (ashamed of myself) But life is good, and getting better all the time, thankgoodness, and I am so looking forward to the new year. New things ahead, and new challenges! I have so missed going around my favourite blogs, and I am finally gathering my thoughts together of how I want to be online, instead of all over the place, but never quite any where. Anyways. I am rambling my friend. Your christmas package is sitting here waiting to be mailed. I am waiting a bit longer. I don't want you to receive it wayyy too early, if you know what I mean. I might pop in an actual letter too.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear you had snow already! We were blessed with it last night and this morning!! Not much, but white enough for me :) Thankfully we can go into the mountains for a snow fix though, if we really need it.

Ciao crafty-Sonia, I have been in a jolly Christmas mood since the middle of November ;) LOL! My parents got snow already. Our forecast said snow a couple of time, but we did not get it ... yet. ;) Will be back to see the videos with Zeno tomorrow. :) Hugs & sweet dreams!

oh, we LOVE white christmas, too! it's been my daughter's favorite since she was tiny. she used to make me rewind (VHS still) and play the... dance number with the yellow dress - the really fast one - over and over - and she was about 18 months trying to tap her little heart out!
ReplyDeleteReviewing Crafts for Boys search and come upon your blog. Loved the ideas for boys, as we have two grandsons. I'm always looking for new crafts and ideas for them when they are here. Loved your reference to "White Christmas" and the dancing scenes. We love to watch those also. So very very. Hey what ever did happen to Choreography? Don't see much of that either!
