Science.Museum

Today we went to Paris (again - just been there 5 days ago) & visited the huuuuuge science musuem of Paris, named "Palais de la Découverte". Can you believe we stayed there from 10am to 04pm ! We even had a sandwich there !! There were just SO much to see !! You can imagine that under "science" name, you can mean lots of other categories ... and just to name a few ... here were the different areas you could (and that we did) visit :
sounds & vibrations
electrostatics
materials & magnetism
electrical fields
electromagnetism
how animals communicate
the sun & the planets
planetarium
space
weather & climate
genetics & cells
mathematics
mechanics
chemistry
nuclei & particles
earth sciences
heat & fluids
liquid air
life on earth
human biology
optics
light

There was a very fun olfactive exhibition with tons of odoramas, we loved that part too ! :) There are educative workshops, mainly designed for children. The boys had a blast, they even participated in chemical experiments, to their own delight. (sure they'll be dreaming about this tonight !! LOL) The whole musuem is a treasure in itself, the building is very old & very huge, there are mosaics on lots of floors, big stairs, very high ceilings ... really ... it's incredible we didn't know its existence before !
I'll leave you with a slideshow of the photos I made today, in the museum & in Paris. Again we walked a lot & a lot, but is there another way around when you visit a huge city ?!

Hoping you're all having a fabulous weekend ! Tomorrow is a (planned) cosy-at-home kind of day. Enjoy your Sunday ! Big hugs XOXOXO
