Ok, I suppose my break from the blog is over now. Today the boys stayed home again, they weren't fine enough (to my own taste) to go back to school (and spread their germs) But hopefully tomorrow, at least P will go back to school. In the morning tomorrow my mom shall arrive by train, so it will be a welcomed pair of helping hands !
Thank you everyone who stopped & left caring & supporting messages. All I can say is that it's been quite a crazy & exhausting week. (from last Tuesday) They're on the mend, but it's not over at all, poor little men.
Here is a pic of Christmas cards (all my favorites) that I am displaying until Christmas, where ususally the boys' artworks are displayed. It really looks good, I will definitely use that idea again next year in our new place. (gosh, that sounds really weird to me to say that ! LOL)
I finished one of the two custom orders I got this weekend. (can you believe that ?!) And had a moment of brilliance (let's be modest !! LOL) when I had to wrap it. I do my best to re-use or re-purpose things I kept or salvaged. I have a box with lots of papers & cardboards coming from junk envelopes & other boxes. I used a part of a tissue box (blue with snowflakes) to pack this order & I'm pretty happy with the result. I also used a part of the inside of a junk envelope. That's what my friend Lisa would call "the little things". (each & every little bits that we keep, salvage, reuse or repurpose)
And last but not least ... I have been fabulously SPOILED by Katy ... when I wrote, some blog entries ago, that I had never tasted real peppermint candies from the US, well, she sent me a HUGE box of them ! And among other pepperminty goodness, needless to say !! OH MY WORD, Katy, thank you from the bottom of my heart for this amazing parcel, it was reallllly Christmas for me today !!
I hope to be back to my blog visits tomorrow, I'll do my best, I promise. Thank you everyone for stopping by ! :) OXOXOXOX
