Oh well friends ... I guess I've spent these 5 past days a bit far from the 'puter ... You'll easily imagine that when everyone (boys + hubby) is on vacation, rhythm is NOT the same & days happen differently. That's what happened this time. I will visit you all (will do my best!) tomorrow & on Friday. Tomorrow the boys will be back to school (after autumn break) & Chris will be back to work (after 5 days off). Maybe life will get back to its daily routine. I'll probably have lots on your blogs to catch up with !
In the meatime I'll show you pics I took yesterday. We went to Chris' aunt & uncle, not very far from here, and we had a nice walk around a lake nearby. The weather was warm & sunny, but today turned cold & grey & it rained all night & this morning.
Today was spent at home, even though I went out to shop for food (and warm pyjamas for Chris, he needed this so much), and a stop by the bakery (for bread) & the post office, I took care of some houseworks. (ironing being the main one) I also baked a potatoe pie I had not baked for years & years ... I didn't have the recipe under my eyes, but did my best to remember ... and guess what, I didn't measure a single thing (can't remember how many potatoes were needed, nor the quantity of cream & butter ...) ... and it's been the bestest potatoe pie I've ever made since the day I start baking it ! Amazing !!
OK, hubby needs the computer to work with, so I better go grab my numerous craft projects ... ahem ... Big hugs to all !! XOXOXO take good care !!
