That's what my day started with. Well, in fact I took this pic at 08 this morning, but you easily understand that I didn't get up at 8, as the boys have to be at school at 08.25 !!I had an appointment at the dentist's this morning, at 10.20 (talk about a great moment, right in the middle of the morning !) to check how the new implant was doing. It's doing perfectly fine, thank you. LOL But I had to wait for more than half an hour to stay in fact only 5 minutes !! As my wisdom tooth hasn't hurt for a couple of weeks, he decided not to have X-rays done, and as soon as it'll hurt me again, I'll get an appointment & we'll see what we'll do. Oh well. But, I "lost" most of my morning. Hopefully I had shopped for food & hoovered yesterday, so today I "only" had to iron (for an hour, still, thanks), along with all the daily chores & home maintaining stuff.
It was cold today. Really. I had to put my scarf on ! There are almost no more leaves on the branches, so we can say that winter temps are around the corner. At least, the upside is that it puts you in a holiday mood when you try creating things for Christmas or holiday seasons !! ahah !! Sooo ... that's what I did this afternoon ... I sewed a tissue cozy with one of my favorite Christmas/holidays fabrics. It's already in the shop & hope to sew lots more, at least to make as gifts to give. {tissues won't be a luxury here, U's coming down with a cold, it seems}
I think I'll make me one really quickly !Oh, btw, my MIL got her parcel today & she was soooo happy, she had already had a candy, and had tried the wristwarmers when she called me !!! I was so glad to have brought her a bit of comfort & joy, I know she misses her grandsons awfully, plus she's always dealing with health problems, so this brought her a bit of love & happiness.
I'm sorry I haven't had the time to translate the muffin recipes. I'll do that this weekend, hopefully. Really, I loved the apple ones best. :D
OK, have to go. We'll see this weekend what we can do for the blender ...

Good luck finding a good blender! I am lost myself without it. The great one in England I dropped just before we moved house, and didn't work again. And we bought a new one here a while ago, and is just not good enough to blend. So I am totally lost. Being the fruity smoothy addict. Must do something about that soon.

it's always so lovely to be able to sit and sew. I think it's one of my super-favourite things to do. When I have time! Which I seem to have managed to find this week. I've made four felt roses in total and am planning on making more. I think when I've got about 10 or 11 completed I might do a 'giveaway', if anyone is interested.

My bag finally arrived on Friday afternoon, so my weekend has had a definite pink tone to it.
I almost forgot that the clocks went back this weekend. Did yours go back too? Now it really feels like Autumn, I love it.
