Hello everyone ! :) I knew I wouldn't have the time to post yesterday. (I know me well, don't I ?! LOL) So here's a small recap of yesterday before I do the other part of the Xmas children book recommendation.
I had an appointment at the dentist's at 10am & the boys went to the health store with Chris while I was there. No pain, the dentist "simply" put the crown on the dental implant he had put in my gum last May. No pain, just 1000 euros. Eeek. (oh well, we knew) I have to go back next Friday (24th) to check if everything's OK, and ... to have X-rays done to see if he has to remove a wisdom tooth that is bothering me tons. I'll be never done with teeth, in 2008. Spent the whole year at the dentist's ! But I won't complain ... I used to have a phobia of dentists, & now I don't even fear to go there, even if it's painful. How horribly silly is that ?!!
OK, so, I'll skip the useless details ... we spent the beginning of the afternoon making paper games I used to make when I was a little girl. Don't know the name in English, but the boys had tons of fun making them with me !
We received a parcel from my mom, with (among other things) candies, and notions for me ... how sweet she is ! Everyone was happy ! And the stamps were cute, look :
We then went to Disneyland (in the park, this time) We attended a Halloween show (not too scary for the boys, really, just Minnie & her band, all dressed up, music was good, really) Had a snack there, had a great time..
Went back home & had a kind of lazy evening. Watched, with my sweet hubby, an episode of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes -on DVD, with the very talented & regretted Jeremy Brett- (the 3rd in 3 days, and I'm loving it) Chris (surely more than me, but I'm a fan too) & I are big big fans of Conan Doyle's character & of the British TV adaptation.
Onto Christmas now !! LOL
And, oh, just two notes ...
- Aneth, yes some of the books are available in France & in French, but no, some other are not. I'll be making another review for French readers with books in French. OK ? :)

been a busy few days for you Sonia. :O) Well, thankfully we are having a much quieter day today! ha ha ha! That said, I have not had any sewing time - typical! I did housework when I put little one up for her nap, but she's already up again as she just wasn't going to sleep. I admitted defeat and have got her up early. No point in leaving her there if she's not napping. So, no time for me today! *sigh*.
