Too Rich !

Not me ... ah ah ah ... the cake that Chris & I baked this morning for U's 4th bday "home party" !! Goodness, that was one good looking cake ... have a look ...... but after eating one single & reasonable piece of it, I was not feeling very well most afternoon. Oh. Went to bed for half an hour (fell asleep approx. 10 times & woke up 11 ...) in the middle of the afternoon, and then afterwards I felt better. Phew. It rained all day long so we stayed inside except for a short short walk outside under a light rain (we had to pull the boys, they didn't want to go out !!) to look at snails, raindrops & other marvels ... In a way, I think I did too much again today (like last Friday) but everything I did HAD to be done ... I baked/cooked & washed the dishes several times, unloaded/loaded the dishwasher, had a load of laundry done, decluterred the boys' bedroom & hoovered it (this took some time), and lots lots of other things ... Anyway ... I'll go to bed earlier tonight, I think !
Birthday Boy had a great time, though simple & at home with his parents & brother ! He opened his presents after breakfast & played with them most of the day, he was thrilled !Tomorrow is the first day of the last week of vacation for the boys. I'm going to enjoy my little ones as much as I can, while they're at home all day with me, so IF I miss a day or two, you'll know why. :)
I hope you all had a great weekend. I'm sorry I won't share the chocolate cake recipe, I don't want my friends to yell at me because they got ill because of it ! Too rich, as the title says ! Have a great start to the new week, everyone ! HUGS !
