This Is Paris (part II)

Yesterday we went to Paris, mostly to get P's school supplies. We wanted to look for ecological supplies ... but no such luck. :( I'm very angry that there aren't many ecological alternatives to simple supplies teachers ask for. Disappointed, really. Oh well. We found almost everything at the BHV & will get the rest at the supermarket tomorrow or this week. So ... here are a couple of pics from yesterday ... that was a rather sunny day, lovely to go out. We did things we hadn't planned (such as getting Ladurée macarons & eating them on a bench, in the street, in front of Saint-Germain-des-Prés church -well, uh, abbey -, that we visited earlier) We ate at an Italian restaurant named Fuxia , in quartier Saint Paul, that was delicious, and not that expensive at all. We ended our day in Paris with a long walk in the Buttes Chaumont park .You can see a couple other photos at my Flickr.

I also wanted to show you a bit more personal photos I took yesterday morning, before leaving for Paris. They show :
- our first coffee (on the table) with that morning sun that I looooove
- a little bit of my craft corner. (you can see a bigger photo at my Flickr)
- a corner of my computer table right now
- my little ones (and hubby too, on the photo) playing with magnetic toys, on the carpet. I love that pic. Totally into the thing.

Now ... onto the Giveaway results, my friends !! The random generator picked ... Clare (aka Mbutterfudge) !! Congratulations Clare, I'll email you later today ! A big thank to everyone who joined the fun. I'll definitely be making another one in the future. :) Stay tuned. *Ü*
Big hugs to you all, and thanks again for visiting, I simply adore having you all around, you always make my day ! :) Have a super great week ahead !! OXOXO

PS : I just updated the shop with the lastest things I made.

  1. Sonia,

Just to let you know I have resolved the issues of not being able to leave comments on my blog :(
    It was a mac issue.
The wording mad in the url has to be replaced with the word 'me', then commenting works just fine.

Please change my blog url to http://web.me.com/annabarrow/

Oh and my new/correct email address is
    annabarrow@me.com

    Much love to you!

  3. OMG Sonia, I actually jumped for joy (and ran to tell the household, hee!)when I read your blog today. I can not put into words how utterly thrilled I am to win your giveaway - I am soo happy babe.

I love seeing the personal photos of corners of your home, I love your craft corner. The light is amazing.

Paris looks so wonderful. Greg has said that we may go visit the beautiful city next spring, fingers crossed. I bet your boys loved the macaroons, they looked so good.

Its a shame you couldnt get eco alternatives to some of the school supplies you needed. Hey maybe theres a business idea there for you, Im sure many people would prefer to buy eco supplies...

Anyway Im off to do some more crochet, much much much love sweetie, ClareXX
